In Situ Liner Belper 1014
On this project we had to find a solution to repair a leak on the interceptor trap downstream of the manhole where an excavation wasn't possible as well as repairing further leaks down the rest of the drain.
We first tunnelled through the manhole wall and removed the interceptor trap, then inserted a new length of pipe, sealing this with a structural patch liner which also added the structural rigidity required. This new section of pipe was then benched into the manhole sealing any possible leaks from the manhole.
A liner was then inserted to the boundary to ensure that all faults had been erradicated from the customers private drainage.
This is a typical example of some of the problematic jobs we attend and thrive on rectifying.
